pwntools is a CTF framework and exploit development library written in Python, focussed on binary exploitation in Linux. It is designed for rapid prototyping and development, and intended to make exploit writing as simple as possible. This workshop will introduce some key features of pwntools, then work through writing an exploit using its various features to give you an exploitation script which is readable, maintainable, and reusable.

Requirements
  • A laptop running Linux or a Linux VM
  • Basic Python skills
  • Basic binary exploitation awareness (you don’t need to have actually written a stack overflow exploit, just knowing roughly what one is is sufficient) with pwntools
